What to do and expect after Photofacial rejuvenation: You should expect skin sensitivity and some reddening of the treated area. The skin may also be blotchy and lighten/darken in a non-uniform way. The areas of treatment should begin fading lightly within the first few days to a week.

Photofacial treatments should be spaced 4-6 weeks apart from one another. You should consult with your provider to see how many treatments are needed, but typically it is 3-5 treatments. After this, maintenance is often recommended at 6-12 months apart.
